Absolutely
Dragulous
Were formed on the success of a scene in Brighton's "Alternative Pantomime" Six cast members of Brighton's alternative panto (five drag queens and a boy, who incidently are all peformers in their own right) did a scene called "The Cell Block Tango"
It was an instant hit with the audience and for
the cast members too, who are some of the UK's top acts on the cabaret scene today.
Infact they got on so well together Dave Lynn
suggested they form a company and offer high quality, regular, cabaret to the public.
So they joined forces with the Charles Street
bar in Brighton, when Connie Conway came on board and
Absolutely Dragulous was born.
Absolutely Dragulous perform the musicals "With a Twist"
"Everyone has bonded so well since performing
together in the panto"
Says one company member.
Even now it is said that during the rehearsals,
everyone has so much fun it's hard to concentrate on the task at hand sometimes.
